Dollar patterns are extremely popular, and many (such as the
Schoolgirl, Shield Earring and Amazonian) are gorgeous.  Although I
would never recommend investing in patterns, high-grade R-6, R-7
and R-8 dollar patterns, if purchased at reasonable prices, should
present minimal risk.

Trade Dollar patterns can be quite beautiful, especially with the right
patina, and are popular as well.

Many different Morgan Dollar patterns exist, and Morgan collectors
may choose to round out their collection with one or more.  Morgan's
artistic sense is evidenced by his beautiful reverses.
